Dr. Joshua Ginsburg on From Climate Change to Pandemics: the Collapse and Rebirth of the American Scientific Endeavor.

    Dr. Ginsburg is President of the Cary Institute of Ecological Studies in Millbrook, one of the world's premier ecological and environmental research centers. He also serves on the board of Open Space Institute, which has protected over 100,000 acres in the Hudson River Valley and the Shawangunks.

    Dr. Ginsberg’s career in ecology and conservation science spans 35 years and has global reach. In 1996 he began his tenure with the Wildlife Conservation Society, where he undertook a series of senior management roles and oversaw initiatives in North America, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the marine environment.

The presentation starts at 7:00pm at the D&H Canal Museum and Mid-Hudson Visitor Center at 1315 Main Street in High Falls. There is a $10 suggested donation that can be paid at the door. No reservations necessary.
