Now celebrating our 42nd year,
the purpose of the D&H Canal Historical Society
is to preserve, protect and perpetuate
the unique history of the Delaware and Hudson Canal
particularly in Ulster County
D&H Canal Sunday Market, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at D&H
Canal Park on Rte. 213 in High Falls (weather permitting). Free and open
to the public.
Sunday, May 3:
Spring Opening of the D&H Canal Museum, 11 a.m. to
5 p.m. Special exhibit: - From the Coalfields to the Hudson: The
River’s Role in the D&H Canal. Admission: $4 for adults; $2 for
children. Always free for members. Museum will be open Saturdays and
Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through October 25.
Saturday, June 6:
National Trails Day. Free guided tour of Five Locks
Walk at 2 p.m. Meet at the Museum.
Saturday, August 15:
Bel Canto Institute members perform Italian arias
in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Admission: $10
Saturday and Sunday, September 5 & 6, September 12
& 13, September 19 & 20, and September 26 & 27
Hudson River Valley Ramble. Free guided tours of
the Five Locks Walk at 2 p.m. Meet at the Museum.
